Another busy day at the coast! We took a drive inland through lovely tree-lined roads and horse paddocks until reaching Currumbin Rock Pools. The water was mountain fresh and clear and we saw a few eels nibbling at the rocks. We all got in for a swim - Amelia in a spectacular fashion as she tumbled down the waterfall. Thankfully only her pride was damaged. After playing on the rocky far side of the swimming hole, William practically flew across to me saying 'I'm not going over there anymore - there's a massive snake with a black back and a yellow belly!' Oh yes. The one more commonly known as the rather deadly yellow-bellied black snake! We left shortly after that, stopping at a cool park on a lake where a bunch of old blokes were indulging in their hobby of miniature sailboat racing. We were all tiring by this time - well mum and dad were anyway - so spent an hour at camp before meeting Tiffany and Sam to go fishing in Sam's kayak and have a bbq dinner.
And we saw a dolphin too - another perfect day. Needless to say, we all slept like babies.
