It's Brisbane Writers Festival this week, so Amelia and I headed into the State Library of Queensland to see what was happening. After a quick snack we listened to a children's author talk, drew a design for another level of the '52-story treehouse' (a kids storybook), then pretended to be pirates in the kids corner of the library. After that, we caught the Citycat ferry along the river to visit 'mummy's work'. Amelia did so much work and made such a good impression, that she was hired on the spot! What a busy day - lucky the train seats are so comfy.
