Lunch at the Elm Haus cafe

We drove to the top of Mount Glorious for lunch at a quirky cafe made from recycled wood. A lovely way to spend a chilly afternoon.

School Bush Dance

Last night the school hosted its annual bush dance. Everyone dressed in their denim jeans, check shirts and cowboy hats. There was a pig roast, thong throwing and country dancing to the tunes of the bush band. It was a great night, with the highlight for me watching Amelia and friends doing the Birdie dance.

Lisa's Lovely Birthday

I had a lovely day - opening lots if presents and cards - thank you everyone for your gifts. I worked from home so had a very easy day followed by an Indian takeaway, chocolate cake and wine. Lovely.

Amelia gets a 'Tenacity' award

Amelia received an award yesterday for working hard on her sight words. She wad a very proud girl.

William's birthday

William enjoyed his birthday. There were many presents - a cricket set, Lego, bow and arrow, army play set amongst them. We went out for an early dinner followed by ice cream cake at home. On Saturday William and friends took their scooters to Rampattak,  an indoor skate park.
