The trailers first trip

We had a great weekend with friends camping at Mooloolaba. Our first trip with our new trailer! Spent lots if time surfing  on the beach and the fish we had for dinner had just come off the boat!

Ju jitsu comp

William took part in his ju jitsu club competition last Saturday. It took most of the day and he fought hard. He was the happy recipient of three medals - gold and two silver's for defence and attack.

Amelia's Japanese Dolls

One of the things Amelia and her class have been learning about Japan, is the kimono. Here are amelias little kimono-clad creations!

Amelias classroom

Amelias class have been creating a cruise ship and taking trips all around the world. They've visited and learnt all about Italy and Paris and Japan. Here's some photos of their sushi train and Japanese dining hall.

Spring has sprung

The weather has warmed up and the wet season seems keen to move in. In between the showers and heavy downpours, my veggie patch is cleared and dug ready for planting the summer crop!

Halloween

There were some ghostly happenings in the street on Halloween night - scary skeletons, witches and pirates were all out and about.

Williams swimming carnival and Amelias gymnastics comp

William came second in 50m breaststroke and 25m backstroke in his school swimming carnival which was held on Thursday. He loves competing at anything - and though prefering to be first, was pleased to get second.
Amelia had her gymnastics comp yesterday and was overjoyed to get a trophy and fifth and sixth place for floor and bars.
