Amelia's Pre Prep Graduation

With the last year of daycare drawing to an end,  a graduation celebration was arranged for all those children going to 'big' school next year. Amelia looked so grown up - and even had the attitude to go with it!

William's Got Talent

Today William had his first private tennis session. After just 10 minutes his coach told us 'He's got such a natural talent!'.  He learnt more in half an hour than we could believe and his quietly competitive nature will drive him to do more. His 'homework' is to do 30 pushups and skip for 10 minutes a day. Wimbledon seems a long way off,  but who knows?!

Our little girl gets ready for Prep

Yesterday Amelia met her new prep teacher Mrs Wilson at Patricks Road School. Amelia seemed quite overwhelmed by it all but took everything quietly in. We saw the classroom and met the other children who'll be in the class - lots of new friends to make. Amelia started playing hard straight away!

England - week 1

We made it to Heathrow in one piece - just. I suffered air sickness which was awful. The kids were mostly good though tired and cranky at times, but enjoyed the in-flight food and entertainment. We made a friend from Annerley along the way who helped us navigate the airport in Korea and provided a welcome playmate. Since we arrived the kids have been spoilt rotten and I haven't had to cook dinner once :)
The weather has been glorious with only a little rain - hoping it stays that way. We've been to my nieces birthday party, collected conkers in the woods, and William watched Bristol City beat Chesterfield FC with his Uncle Colin and Auntie Sarah.
We also visited slimbridge wildfowl trust where thousands of geese and ducks flock to escape the harsh northern winters in russia and canada.
It's been a busy first week!
